This is basically what I had to start with, All though I have started some minor construction here in these shots with the firewall cut to size ready for fitting, the elevator profiled to shape and the foam sheets glued in place to mold the rear turtle deck.
The rudder is not molded to shape, the landing gear I am not using, going for the fixed diehl gear (tail wheel), the conopy frame and fwd premolded deck yet to be fitted.

Here the rear spar has been carefully cut out and raised to set the correct incedence for the AS 5046 profile, the cockpit area has been painted white this really showed up poor glue joints around some gussets!! that have now been fixed. the seat base has now got 3 layers of glass, now i can sit in it and pretend to have a plane.
